Shuttle Glamour D10 Blazing With 7″ LCD Panel
Shuttle has been building up its XPC series for years now and they continue supplying fresh and innovative features to their product lines to maintain its commercial viability. Aside from the portability which is great for LAN parties, they have media center PCs to
boot — the latest
one, and by far the most
stimulating product to
come out of the Shuttle
factories for a long
time - the Glamour D10 that
has a built-in 7-inch
touch screen LCD
panel.
let’s take a look at what factors covering this
glaring feature: an
Intel Core 2 Duo E7200
running at 2.53GHz, a single stick of DDR2 800MHz memory (2 slots are available), Integrated GMA 3100 graphics with 128MB (shared with main
memory), 80GB of storage
space, and a DVD writer branded AOpen. These are the chief components; most of the other features are motherboard-derived, which means we have a pretty good list of features courtesy of Intel’s G33. This includes the aforementioned dual memory slots, 2 SATA sockets (unluckily fully occupied by the two storage devices mentioned above), an IDE connector, and 2 USB headers.
Comes in Windows XP or Vista but you can basically install any OS in it. You can hook up the VGA port to your TV in your living-room making the Shuttle D10 an alternative amusement center.
The issue with Shuttle/XPC is that they’re unaffordable at the moment. Local distributors like PC Shack and Qube offers them at a starting price of Php25,599 ($545).
