Sony Launching 14 New PS3, PSP Titles At TGS 08

Could the long awaited Chain-in-well game by Team Ico ultimately be unveiled? We’ll know in two weeks.

Siliconera is reporting that there will be fourteen unannounced games disclosed

for Sony consoles at Tokyo Game Show 08. There will be three PSP games

and nine PS3 games from Sony unveiled. Irem and Konami will be showing

off one new PS3 game apiece.

Lots of people are playing PSP in groupings of fours and when you go to Japan it’s hard to

find a train or a barroom where you don’t catch a few people playing a

PSP. So other publishers in Japan are examining these consumers and

thinking, ‘Wow!.

Thisis a custom that actually sits well with the PSP. The most late example

is the Phantasy Star game from Sega, and it’s really tumbling on. Some

of these will come over to U.S. and Europe, and hopefully other third

parties will start entertaining the PSP in the same way,

Rumored to be among the list of titles shown off are White Knight Story and

Metal Gear Solid Existence. Team Ico’s PS3 project has also been

reported to be acquiring a grand unveiling at the event. Tokyo Game

Show 08 will take place October 9 – 12.
